Congrats to 2014 Clam attackman Connor Donahue (#24 pictured two right of trophy) on winning the Division I Men’s Lacrosse National Championship! He and his Denver teammates defeated Maryland 10-5 to win their first lacrosse championship in program history. Denver also becomes the first team west of the Mississippi River to take home the title.
Tufts won their second consecutive National Championship with a 19-10 win over Lynchburg. Former Clam Conor Helfrich (#22) was named the DIII Most Outstanding Player; he scored a goal, won 23-of-31 face-offs and scooped up thirteen ground balls in the win. Congratulations are also in order for former Clams ’13 Tucker Mathers (#25) and Assistant Coach ’09 Matt Callahan (Tufts Class of 2013). The Jumbos finished the regular season with an impressive 21-2 record on the year.
