NCAA Tournament Spotlight: Kerry Lyne (Union)

After failing to reach the NCAA Tournament in his first two years, Lyne came into 2019 determined to help Union get back to playing lacrosse in May.  The junior attackman has done just that, leading the Dutchmen to a 13-3 record and creating the advantageous scenario of being hosts to Cortland in the second round of the NCAA Tournament as an at large bid. Lyne leads the Dutchmen in points (44) and goals (35) and is two goals away for 100 for his career. With wins over Springfield, Middlebury, Ithaca, St. Lawrence and RPI, the Dutchmen are poised to make a deep run as a dark horse this postseason. Do not be surprised if they upset one or two higher seeds!
