Coach Prudden comes to the Clams/Littlenecks with a wealth of lacrosse knowledge and experience. He attended the prestigious Tabor Academy in Marion, MA where he garnered All-American honors. Prudden went on to attend Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT and graduated 2007. During his time at Quinnipiac, Prudden recorded 93 points and was an All-Conference selection in his senior year in the highly competitive Great Western Lacrosse League Conference. He was also selected as an All New England All-star and for his play in the NEILA East/West game, garnered the Dick Garber Award as the Most Valuable Player of the game. After his graduation, Prudden coached and played in Manchester, UK as the Local Development Officer for the Cheadle Lacrosse Club. Coach Prudden’s playing career also includes three seasons with the Vermont Voyageurs, a box lacrosse team that competed in the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League. In 2009, he earned Offensive MVP honors for the Voyageurs.
Coach Prudden began his coaching career at the collegiate level where he helped New England College earn championship game appearances in back to back seasons while earning his Master’s Degree in Education. Coach Prudden then went onto become the head coach at Proctor Academy, where he served for five years building the program to a perennial Northern New England Lacrosse League power, coaching four Academic All-Americans and two All-Americans during his time.
Prudden is currently a History teacher and the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Pomfret School, where he helped the team earn back to back Colonial League Championships in his first two seasons.
