Coach Spencer hails from California, and was coached at Monte Vista High School by his father, Ted Spencer, where his brother, Devin, also played.  He was a 2014-15 All-USA Today Northern California Boys Lacrosse Team. His Father, Ted, played at Massachusetts in the 1980s and was the head coach at Fairfield for 13 seasons after assistant coaching tenures at Brown and Yale. Ben finished his playing days at UMass with 67 career points on 52 goals and 15 assists over 59 career appearances. He started in 52 of his 59 career games played. Totaled 19 of his career goals during man-up situations with at least three scored in each of his four seasons, and added 24 groundballs and four caused turnovers to his ledger. Ben has been coaching with the Fighting Clams and Littlenecks for two years!
