“Coach Sider” played three years of his high school ball at St. John’s Prep before spending his senior year at New England Prep school powerhouse, Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, NH. After graduating from BA in 2010, Jon then played both Division II and III collegiate lacrosse; attending LeMoyne College his freshman year, before transferring to Endicott College where he finished his career as a defensive midfielder and man-down specialist. Jon also traveled overseas to play lax, competing in Germany’s Berlin Open, and Amsterdam’s Lowlands tournament for Team GP in 2013. Jon started his coaching career as the head JV coach at St. John’s Prep in the spring of 2015, before becoming a Varsity Assistant in the spring of 2017. In the last three seasons, the Eagles have had two MIAA playoff appearances, and one Division 1 North sectional final appearance. More recently, Coach Sider was named the head coach for Manchester-Essex Regional High School. He has been with the Clams for 4 years, and currently is the head coach of the Clams class of 2022!
